Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In May, my students will embark on an exciting new journey: project-based learning project where they will become entrepreneurs. My aim is to equip them with the skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs. They will learn valuable lessons on money management, communication, and hands-on skills that will enable them to create their craft with confidence.
Throughout the course of the project, students will be tasked with identifying a want or need then creating a product or service that addresses that need or want.
They will work in teams to research, brainstorm, and develop their ideas, as well as create a business plan and marketing strategy.
One of the key benefits of project-based learning is that it allows students to take ownership of their learning. By working on a project that has real-world applications, they will be able to see the immediate impact of their efforts and gain a deeper understanding of the skills and knowledge they are acquiring.
Overall, I am excited to see how my students will grow and develop through this project-based learning experience.
