Having these healthy options helps them refuel their bodies and minds, especially during busy afternoons. Our focus and concentration has improved\r\nWe were also able to take some of our snack to make sience projects with. We traded for some apples and were able to do an experiment. Will the apples sink or float. The apples were made into boats using popsicle sticks and contruction paper. the students worked in tgroups of 2's to make their apple boat and then place it in the water to see if it would float. The students loved this experiment and are excited to try more like this one.\r\nIt's amazing to see how something as simple as a healthy snack can have such a positive ripple effect on our classroom. Your thoughtfulness has truly made a difference in our classroom.\r\n We recieved several decodable books with virbrant pictures to match. When learning to read students often use the pictures to help them. The books we recieved had relatable pictures to the studetns background knowledge which made choosing their reading books fun and engaging. Also having decodable books the studens are able to sound out the words and blend tham together.\r\n The impact of these books has been significant. I've seen a noticeable increase in students' excitement about reading, and many are taking their reading to the next level by trying to identify fiction versus nonfiction books. We are so appreciative of your thoughtfulness in creating a comfortable learning environment for all of the students. Since we have had the alternate seating my students have been able to use them duirng small group time, read to self, writing time and math.\r\n The students love to use the floor desks during small group time. They are able to sit comfortably, while doing their work and are engaged in the learning. During read to self the students get to pick their own area to sit at and since we have had our altenate seating they have been grateful to have a new area to read at. Writing and math sometimes requires copying from the board, as our room is different shaped all of my students are now able to see the board. My students who were in the back of the room during writing and math are now able to place there floor desk up close to the board. They fell sucessful and grateful.\r\n The students have really enjoyed the new seating arrangements, and it has made a big difference in their ability to focus and engage. They get excited for learning and are positve with each other.
