Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarteners have been working hard this year to develop their reading and writing skills. As we enter the final push of kindergarten, I want to ensure that my students leave kindergarten with the skills and knowledge that they need to be successful in first grade.

Hands on learning is the best way to engage little learners which is why these supplies are so needed.

The paper cutter will allow me to get materials ready for them to use. These new materials for writing including the kwik stix, colorful sentence strips, magnetic drawing boards and KleenSlates will refresh their excitement for practicing their letter formation and writing skills. Many of these items can also be used to practice their reading skills as well. The Science or Reading toolkit, games, and tabletop pocket chart will enable me to provide individualized instruction in a fun and engaging way.
