Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class reads loads of picture books. Students love to read the picture books independently after we complete a read aloud together. Currently, the access to the reading materials in my classroom is very limited. With this bookshelf, students can easily access any story we read as a class, as it can be displayed in the front of the room!

With these materials, students will be able to visualize and conceptualize ideas that may be seemingly abstract.

The globe will help my students see different places around the world, and it can pique their interest in geographical concepts! I love to open the eyes of my students to new ideas!

Last, flexible seating options like cushions can be really helpful when students want to focus, but may struggle sitting still. This is a stimulating but silent resource that will totally help my wiggly students.
