No classroom is complete without a current edition of Scholastic News. It is important to me that my students have a thorough understanding of concepts and current events about the world around them, often from the point of view of children, as they grow and continue to interact with different children they encounter in various environments. When given opportunities and shown examples of bettering themselves, many people flourish and become the best versions of themselves. With lots of exposure to positive impacts upon communities all around the world, from adults and children, students will gain insight for themselves and their futures. Time For Kids Magazins introduces and explains deeper understandings of the world around them in terms of world wide current events. This is another beneficial resource for any classroom to show children there is more to the world around them than just what they see in their everyday lives.
