This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are in a rural school in Alabama. Most of my students receive free or reduced rate lunch. Our school is a Title I school.
My students are very creative.
Students would absolutely love to engage in doing different activities throughout the day. The students love hands-on activities. The different manipulatives will be a great resource. Students love to be challenged
The children can use the manipulatives to count and add during math. During language, the students can answer questions by drawing pictures.
My Project
These materials will help the children to enjoy school. The students will create a drawing and they will also have the opportunity to build different objects. They will be creating, painting and building things while learning. The big idea is to allow the students to enjoy having their own time to become creative. Using different manipulatives will also help the students to use their imagination. The students will paint and create their paintings.
Using blocks to build will be a great task for students.
Children using hands-on materials will encourage the students to learn and enjoy the things they have created.
