My Project

I love that my students come in every day hungry for learning and fun activities. One way that I am able to provide them with these experiences is through multiple learning platforms to use on their Chromebook. The past 5 school years, I have used these platforms in my classroom.

Students have loved having different platforms available for them to learn through playing a game or enhancing a regular worksheet so that it is interactive.

The games are set up so they are educational and fun in nature so the students are learning and in a fun and engaging way. These platforms can be manipulated so that every topic that I teach can be included, so it is a tool that can be implemented with my students all year long. They can be used as a way for me to assess students in a fun, non-traditional way. Gimkit is an all-time student favorite! They have new game features constantly and my students love playing the new modes and competing against each other when we play this game.

Even my most difficult-to-engage students will jump at the chance to play a game during instructional time, even if it is educational. Teachermade is a resource where I can take a boring handout and make it interactive.

I want to continue to use these amazing platforms to keep my students engaged! Students enjoy them immensely and I want to bring this same level of engagement to my students next school year. With our district providing a 1:1 initiative, these will be fabulous tools to continue using next year for ensuring that my students, wherever they may be academically can thrive. Please help me to continue using this fabulous tool in my classroom for the 2024-2025 school year. Thank you so much!
