This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschool students enjoy playing in all the learning centers, however our reading area is in need of an upgrade, since the furniture has been enjoyed by our children for over 20 years.

I want my students to be excited about visiting our reading center when they come to class.

I would like to make our reading corner inviting and cozy with the addition of color comfy seats and a canopy to ignite their love of reading. My students come from low-income families and are always appreciative of everything. I know they would be so excited to see our reading center given a new life. Your help and generosity will help make our classroom a more inviting place for our children to learn.
