This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy having a variety of resources available at their fingertips. They are most successful in their learning when they feel they have ownership over their experiences. Some of my students not only enjoy creating art digitally but are extremely gifted and talented when it comes to making art on the computer especially since we live in a world where technology is so predominant. However, we are extremely limited in the classroom with what we have available to use.
Giving my students access to simple items like a USB mouse or a drawing pen, will tremendously enhance their digital art experience and let their skills flourish even more.
Students will be able to dive deeper into their learning with these items plus have a place to store them at the end of each class. Digital art is becoming more and more popular and I want to make sure my students have the skills to keep up with the world around them.
