My Project

I am the school counselor at a Prek- 5 low income school in a rural area of eastern North Carolina. Currently I have old, hand me down chairs and tables in our classroom. Two of our tables have legs that are broken and the table sways when students work at their station. Many of my tables are over 20 years old!

The new table and chairs will give my students a learning environment that is appropriate for ALL students that are served in guidance class.

As the school counselor, I serve ALL 550 students in my school for SEL guidance class weekly. My tables and chairs are full of students EVERY day! It would be so nice for my students to have new furniture in our classroom!
