Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity to enhance the learning experience of my students through the creation of interactive learning spaces in our classroom.
This project will foster literacy skills thorough engaging, multi-sensory experiences.
With this goal in mind, I am expanding our listening center choices to provide students with a selection of enriching books that cater to various reading levels and interests. These listening centers will not only promote a love for reading but also help improve comprehension skills and encourage independent learning.
I am also seeking funding for essential materials for our literacy corner, including durable bags for books, an interactive classroom calendar for reinforcing concepts, and mini accent pieces for critical thinking. Additionally, support for a rolling crate will aid in transporting materials between school and home, ensuring access beyond the classroom. Smelly stickers will be used to incentivize and reward student participation.
