Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year, I have the pleasure of teaching a very singular and amazing group. I teach a first-grade combo that includes gifted and nongifted students. My first-grade students are excited for working face to face this school year but we keep jumping to dual-modality when somebody in our classroom tests positive for Covid-19. My kids are English language learners and some of them are new to this country. Our school is Title I, and 100% of my students receive free or reduced-price lunches and live in low-income areas.
My little ones are eager and curious to learn in any circumstance, they are enthusiastic, enjoy doing challenging activities, and I can see their happiness when they explore and learn new information.
In other words, they cannot "mask" their excitement when acquiring new knowledge.
This year, I try to be as close as I can to my first graders and give them the quality of education that they deserve by filling up the learning gaps they have due to the pandemic and enriching their strengths.
My Project
TpT is a website providing high-quality materials created by teachers for teachers. TpT resources will allow me to plan interactive and engaging lessons for my first-grade students. TpT has colorful, engaging, digital worksheets and assignments students love.
By donating to our project, you will not only help me to give my students the best educational resources but also improve and increase their academic achievement.
I use resources from TPT as they are always very creative, original, and my students enjoy the varied resources that can be found on this website.
