This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our adult transition program focuses on equipping students with essential life and job skills to prepare them for independence.

A vital part of this learning occurs in our classroom kitchen, where students practice meal preparation, kitchen safety, and customer service through hands-on activities.

We need a SodaStream with CO₂ canisters, an ice cream maker, ice chest coolers, and a KitchenAid cheese slicer to expand our program. These items will allow students to explore new recipes, learn about food preservation, and develop practical skills they can use in personal and professional settings.
