My Project

Hello! My classroom is in need of watercolor paper and glue for our 6th graders! The watercolor paper will be used for practicing and exploring a variety of painting techniques with watercolor. In the end, the artist will be able to create a galaxy inspired art project with their favorite watercolor techniques! Lastly, the glue will be used to create a paper mache paste for a unit on alebrijes. Students will learn the history and origin of alebrije's and create their on unique sculpture using paper mache and newspaper.

The goal of this project is to provide essential 2D and 3D art materials, enabling each 6th grade student the opportunity to engage in hands-on artistic experimentation and creation.
