Enhanced Robotics with Sphero Bolt

My Students

Out of respect to their hard work this year, I'd like to offer more challenging opportunities in the fields of STEM. The students I have this year are an outstanding group. They have exceeded my expectations in and out of the classroom. They have shown such amazing progress with what little I have been able to provide for them. With a few more options, the sky is the limit. We have a wonderful community that would fully support a program that challenges students to think outside the box.

My Project

This project will allow students to learn robotics from a set of Spheros. In our current environment, we have a few class sets of Sphero SPRK+. These are great, but half of them have died due to overuse and poor battery life.

My goal is to allow students to explore their creative side and use some of the coding we have learned this year to program Spheros.

Sphero is a fun way for students to be exposed to basic robotic programming suitable for the middle school level.

Through the application of Sphero.edu, students will learn incredible coding skills that could lead to interest at the high school level.
