3D printers, Makey Makey boards, and iPads are fairly basic for STEM education, an initiative that prepares students to excel in science, technology, engineering and math. The manipulatives we are looking for are just out of our budget. With the aforementioned technology, we can make most of our materials to enhance our STEM experience. For example, while working with Sphero, we will be needing materials to complete our coding objective. When comparing these prices online to those of creating one using a 3D printer, the benefits financially are outstanding. Students will learn to code, as well create 3 dimensional blueprints for real life application. Makey Makey boards enable all users to create an adaptive workplace for any application. Ipads are the heart of any application based program, and offer an endless amount of opportunity for all students. These items are essential for a successful STEM program.
