Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a school where the majority of our students come from a low income background. My students are hardworking from kinder to 5th grade. I work with them on reading and with my students being bilingual most needs that extra push to develop their English language.

Providing them with a classroom where they can learn together is such an important and integral part of their education.

I want to use these rugs and seating options to help make their learning of English just a little bit easier. Having an area where they can collaborate is crucial. I want them to feel comfortable in their class and I want to offer them a space where they can engage in their education.
