My Project

Please help me provide my students with the supplies they need to thrive in the school environment. In this project, I have picked out a few choice supplies that I believe will greatly benefit my students as they are becoming accustomed to their new American schools.

Most of my students are in American schools for the first time in their lives and they are struggling to adapt.

Part of my job is to help these students and their parents become comfortable with the school and the city. I believe that all of the supplies listed in this project will help me with my overall goal of helping my students become acclimated.

On their first day, I like to provide my students with welcome packages that include supplies such as fidget toys, notecard packs, vocabulary journals, and flyers for current activities at the school as well as emergency vocabulary lists that include images for students who struggle to read their home language. The supplies listed in this project will all help me to provide these care packages as well as a comfortable classroom for my incoming students.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
