This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The goal of this project is equity between special education students of which our school is fifty percent special education, and regular education students.
Our school is also an Equity Focus School.
We want to provide color coded folders and notebooks for all students at the fifth grade level. Our English Language Arts folders are yellow.
Your contribution to this project will help our students feel included and equitable to other students in the classroom. The color coding is for students to identify the materials they need. Teachers can instruct students to take out their yellow folders and notebooks and all students will have them.
