This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager, energetic learners who thrive when given the tools to stay engaged, organized, and focused. These supplies will help create a more effective and flexible learning environment.

• Headphones allow students to focus during independent learning time, especially when using educational technology or listening to literacy and math activities.

They reduce distractions and help meet each child’s unique learning pace.

• Dry erase markers and teacher dry erase boards make lessons more interactive. Students love writing and solving problems on mini boards—it boosts participation and allows me to check for understanding in real time.

• Scoop chairs support students who need movement or alternative seating to stay engaged. They help improve focus for kids who struggle to sit still in a traditional chair.

• Velcro sit spots help organize classroom seating during group lessons or story time. They give students clear personal space and support classroom management while building a sense of structure and comfort.

• A teacher easel is a crucial tool during whole-group instruction. It allows me to model lessons clearly for all students, display anchor charts, and keep materials organized and accessible during teaching.
