Engaging Virtual Materials for Speech Therapy Students

My Project

My students have a variety of communication disorders. Understanding and expressive developmentally expected language through speech therapy is something they work on every day. Engaging Teachers Pay Teachers materials for speech therapy will expose my students to language development opportunities. Being able to choose digital materials that are engaging for my most impacted students will create novel communication opportunities and encourage language growth. I am starting my third year of teaching, and finding new language opportunities for my students has been difficult. DonorsChoose allows me to ask for items for my students that I couldn't provide on my own.

My students are curious, passionate, and active learners.

These new activities will allow for multiple language opportunities to encourage new, functional vocabulary that applies to their lives outside speech therapy.
