Help me give my students a better selection of guided reading books for small group time! These picture books are high interest and are sure to engage my students during reading time!

My Students

I work with students in Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade. My students love to read and I am so lucky that I get to work with them every single day. My job is to push into classrooms and work with small groups on polishing their reading skills.

We are a public school located in St.

Louis, MO. My school represents students from all different backgrounds and cultures. I feel privileged that I get the chance to work with such amazing kids.

My Project

My students are in need of a wider variety of engaging books to read during our guided reading time. The titles I have chosen are books that I know my students love! I work with up to 6 students at a time, that's why I have selected 6 of each title. The books on the list are levels L and M. My students that fall into these levels are lacking in high interest books to choose from.

We need something a little extra to get our students excited about books!

I know my students will be appreciative of the extra selection, as will the other teachers I work with. Thank you!
