My Project

My class of 20 students this year are very creative and hands-on learners.

They are most successful when they are engaged by using manipulatives and completing interesting and hands on assignments.

With the donation of a markerboard table students will be able to work through problems, practice writing, etc. in a more engaging and interesting way. Math manipulatives are especially loved in my classroom. The use of fraction circles and fraction strips will provide students with two different visuals of fractions. I have seen how manipulatives have greatly benefited my students' learning and will be excited to see how these items greater benefit them.
