Part of my philosophy as an educator is the direct impact the physical set up of a classroom has on student success. This is why it is so important to ensure organization of classroom supplies and materials, along with accessibility of said materials. The multi-colored storage container boxes provide me with the ideal space to store task box activities. These activities are a hands-on and engaging way for my students to practice various academic and fine motor skills. The pencil boxes gives each of my students a colorful and defined space to store essential supplies, including pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks and scissors. I use the colorful plastic classroom storage bins as mailboxes, which allows the students to take ownership of their work and notices that go home, while also serving as a designated area for these pieces of work and notices. The wall pocket chart is a convenient spot for important documents and sheets for both myself and my staff. Finally, the accordion file folder organizer is the perfect storage area for the numerous visuals I use to supplement my teaching. Instead of having quite literally hundreds of visuals piled together in a plastic bag, I have a folder with defined sections in which to organize the visuals by topic. Each of these products makes my life in the classroom so much easier, which in turn sets my students up for success. \r\n\r\nOne of the most frustrating things about teaching is the feeling that we never have enough supplies. In a perfect world, we would buy everything we need for the sake of our students. However, that is not financially possible. This leaves us having to pick and choose what we can best afford, inevitably being forced to forego purchasing some sought-after items. Thanks to your donation, I did not have to worry about that. As a result, I was able to save a lot of money while still being able to implement the supplies and materials I truly wanted and needed.
