Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am fortunate to teach 21 wonderfully diverse Kindergarteners at a public TK - 6 Title 1 school in Central California. Many of my kiddos are from varied socioeconomic backgrounds and are very excited learners! Our classroom community provides a safe, nurturing environment for my students to thrive. Each day brings new learning experiences for this energetic, curious group of kids! I strive to create a classroom environment that engages all students and taps into their learning potential. My goal is educating, encouraging, and inspiring all learners.

My Project

Students will work independently and collaboratively to explore, create, and share projects. Working together will help develop effective communication skills, social skills, and imagination! They will have access to a variety of manipulatives, with an emphasis on building.

We are preparing our students for careers in science, technology, engineering and math through creative play.

Hands-on experiences with these kits will enhance the learning of all of our students, provide them with materials that are familiar to them, and give them an engaging way to grow as leaders. I can't wait to see their happy, excited faces as they create and explore!
