Engaging Small Group Center Tools To Promote Student Growth!

Help me give my students differentiated skill practice tools for small group center time that is engaging which includes classroom novels, digital learning tools for reading, math, and science, and practice workbooks for math and language arts.

This project expired on May 18, 2022.

My Students

My students are engaged and excited about learning new things! Especially in the fields of math, science, and technology! I want to be able to offer my students a diversified educational experience that is tailored to their personal needs.

The pandemic has greatly impacted student learning and even more, students are struggling to keep up.

We need learning tools that will promote student growth to close the gap that has been widened over the past two years.

We have a large class with many different needs from special education needs to a cluster of gifted students in our class. Differentiation in how I teach is the only way to meet the many different needs of my students, and because of this, we do a lot of small group learning in our classroom. I need support tools to use during this time. I love to use a combination of novels and technology to support differentiated learning to meet all students' needs.

My Project

These learning resources will help students practice needed skills and inspire collaborative conversations in small groups that promote student growth in essential communication and problem solving skills. Over the past two years my school has seen a widened skill gap due to the many challenges of learning associated with Covid-19 and how it has impacted education. These tools will engage students and inspire them to think, discuss and learn. Help me close the gap with tools that will support optimal growth! We need novels to read and discuss in our small groups, innovative online programs that support our reading, math, and science skills to help identify learning gaps and put focus where it's needed, and language arts notebooks that will help us practice reading and writing skills needed to be successful in the future workplace. Covid-19 has created many learning challenges for students over the past two years and with these curricular tools, students will be able to make great gains in their knowledge and skills.
