Welcome to our classroom project! Our class is filled with 20 motivated learners who want to do their best each and every day.
In our classroom, we strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where each student has the opportunity to be successful.
Students in our class work together to accomplish great things each day. My student love to work together while working on new learning strategies and skills.
We are looking forward to a wonderful school year of laughing, learning, and enjoying our classroom family.
My Project
In first grade, we offer our students different opportunities for structured play time in order to teach students how to positively and respectfully work together.
Students are more successful when they know how to respectfully interact with their peers in different social settings.
I am hoping that by offering my students many different engaging play stations, they will be able to interact with one another while having FUN!
Using play stations in my classroom offers me many different moments to help students solve disagreements, teach respectful communication, and help students learn to cooperate. These are all skills that are necessary for student success.
My students do not currently have many engaging and fun learning manipulatives such as puzzles, LEGO, or other activities like I have requested in this project. I look forward to surprising my students with all these fun learning activities.
