This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me provide my students with the most engaging and flexible classroom to enhance their learning! This year, many students arrived without having the simplest classroom supplies such as paper, notebook, and crayons. This meant we had to provide everything not only for our students, but for ourselves. Recently, our achievement data has really taken a hit. Students are struggling to find motivation to complete many tasks. It is my goal to try and close this gap by engaging students through flexible seating, STEAM activities, and social emotional learning. If funded, I would have the supplies needed such as arts and crafts, copy paper, classroom utilities, and steam activities to provide a clean, fun and flexible environment.
