I am a second year teacher in Early Childhood Special education. My students are 3-5 1/2 years old have a wide range of abilities. I have students from diverse backgrounds, and I would like to be able to keep them engaged and support them as much as possible to become independent and inquisitive learners.
My Project
One of the main goals for my students this school year is to connect with them and engage them. Planning engaging educational activities for students with a wide range of abilities sometimes can be challenging. In our classroom, we learn through play and we do many art activities. My students love experimenting with different materials and creating art projects. I enjoy seeing them smile when they complete an activity. Art activities are really motivating, and I am always impressed by my students' creativity and enthusiasm!
