Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Learning is so much easier when it can be transformed into a hands on experience. With the items included in this project, students will be able to explore the many possibilities to utilize the skills that they are developing in the use of manipulatives in Math and STEM activities. Not only will the resources provide hands on learning experiences, but it will also allow them to engage with the material in a way that is fun, clear, and productive.

My hope is that these materials help them to reach their goal of mastering grade level content.

As educators, we explain to our students the importance of showing their work and/or listening to their Math reasoning/solution. This is not an easy skill for my students when educational resources provided are too advance or do not provide enough support for students of all abilities. These items listed in the project provide opportunities for cross curricular projects and new resource materials from Teacher Paid Teachers that provide more support with the curriculum.
