My Students

My school is in the heart of an urban district where there are a variety of challenges, young students have to deal with on a daily basis. However, these students come to school each day ready to face other challenges they may endure during school hours. It is my hope that I can give them what they need in the classroom setting.

I want each student to come to school each day knowing they will be successful in the work they do.

I work with 30 amazing students that are eager to learn and be successful throughout their schooling. I want them to have what I had growing up, a love for learning, and a love for school.

My Project

Over the pandemic, I have realized that a lot of our school curriculum is not technology friendly! I have been creating a ton of activities and lessons on Google slides but I don't have the time to continue making these slides as engaging as they should be for my students. Many of my students are being quarantined daily because of potential exposures and I need them to continue to be engaged at home!

Teachers Pay Teachers has stunning Google documents, slides, and lessons for virtual learning at home - and it matches our district's curriculum!

Learning new skills in phonics and phonemic awareness can be really exciting when students are at home learning in their environments when the lessons are as well made as the ones on Teachers Pay Teachers!
