My Students

Technology in education is changing the way that we plan, teach and learn in today's classrooms. The term 21st century learners is becoming popular in our schools, addressing the need for students to be engaged by technology. Unfortunately, there is little access to this technology in our classroom.

My students have a very wide range of learning needs which creates both excitement and challenges each day.

They are 21st century learners who thrive on taking in information in more than one way. Being part of a large school district, yet being such a small school leaves us falling through the cracks when it comes to funding for technology. Having access to this technology will help bring us one step closer to engaging and teaching my students to be successful 21st century learners.

My Project

My students would benefit immensely from the use of a projector in our classroom. Using a projector in instruction would not only engage my students to be passionate about what they are learning but also appeal to all learning styles, children with disabilities and my English Language Learners. The students would also benefit from the use of the projector to display student work, and to make learning interactive through access to Internet websites that can aid in learning.

Donations to this project will help engage my students in meaningful ways by providing them access to the technology that they need to become 21st century learners.

Helping to change the way that they learn will continue to foster their love for learning!
