This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students’ curiosity and willingness to engage deeply with their learning, as they bring a unique blend of energy and creativity into the classroom. Coming from diverse backgrounds, each with their own perspectives and strengths, they create a vibrant community of learners. The resources I'm requesting will transform learning into an interactive experience. These hands-on tools will enable real-time problem-solving, quick recall practice, and visual expression of ideas in both individual and group settings.

With lap boards, my student will be engaged and empowered to share their thinking.

Your support will boost engagement, student attention, and focus, and it will increase their academic success. The colored pencils and markers will allow for personal creativity, especially in activities that invite self-expression.

My primary goal is to foster an environment where my students can actively participate, take risks, and collaborate. The immediate feedback from lap boards will help me check for understanding on the spot, tailoring lessons to meet all students' needs.

My students are resilient, creative, and eager to learn, always seeking new ways to explore content, make connections, and support each other in their learning journeys. This project will provide them with the resources they need to learn more effectively, enjoy their work, and showcase their individual strengths in a colorful, hands-on way.
