Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students are low-income, new to this country and/or dealing with extremely challenging home lives, including but not limited to hunger. Even though students are able to receive free lunch they have to wait until 7th period to have lunch, which is a long time. Some students ask me if I have a snack and sometimes I do and sometimes I do not. As a result, they become distracted and not focused. Providing some snacks will allow them to stay energized and motivated to focus in class. In addition, the hard shell case with the laptop case bag will be helpful to use to protect the school laptop. It will be beneficial to protect the classroom laptop and prevent any damage. These materials will be very helpful for my classroom.
