My Students
Kindergarten is an important grade. As a teacher, my job is to build a strong foundation for the rest of their educational journey.
My classroom is made up of 30 energetic and excited students who are eager to learn.
Many of my students are new to our country and struggle with the English Language. My kindergarteners like to laugh and dance, and they are also starting to take education seriously.
I want to give my students every opportunity to make the most of their kindergarten experience. By making learning fun and engaging, students will begin to have a lifelong love for learning.
My Project
At the end of every school year, our kindergarten class has always celebrated their accomplishments through a kindergarten promotion ceremony, followed by a big end of the year party.
This pandemic has put a damper on end-of-the-year activities and how we usually celebrate our students, but it will not ruin celebrating their milestones and accomplishments made throughout this school year.
I want to give my amazing students the gift of FUN for the end of this school year! I want them to remember that they are still kids, and even though things are a little different now, they can still learn and have fun. I am asking for items such as bubbles, sidewalk chalk, balls, jump ropes, etc. to put together a fun goody bag for each student to receive when they drive through. Every bag will come with surprises that are sure to put a smile on their face and keep them active, inquisitive, and imaginative (and learning) during the summer.
