This year is coming to an end for my five math classes. I teach 6th and 7th-grade advanced math and I would like to send them off with a little treat.
I only have one 7th-grade class and 7th grade is a challenging year for kids and parents, I want to send them home with a game they can play with each other.
This game is easy to play and should create a bunch of laughs at home. This is a good way to go into the summer where they will have time to play games with their family. The gift bags will be used for these games. I like to not only teach math but also get the kids to remember the important part of life—being with the ones they love. The candy bars are for all my classes for an end-of-the-year treat. I will wrap them or put a special message on them before they leave for summer. Instead of giving them bags and plastic games that will end up in the trash and hurting our environment, I wanted to give them something I know they will use and it will create little trash. This is a simple way to say to them, "Have a good summer." The creamer is to restock our kindness cart. My students have done an amazing job this year with following our PBIS expectations and this is a way I can reward them in the end. Thank you for taking a look at my project.
