Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project is designed to encourage my students to tap into their artistic abilities. With the canvases and paint brushes, my students will be able to paint images or list words that will show their perception of the final year in elementary school. Each student will have there own canvas and brushes to create their art. I will encourage the students to be as creative as possible when painting their images. Once the projects are completed they will all be displayed on the 5th grade hallway. At that time, we will ask the fourth grade students to view the projects in order to get a sneak peek into 5th grade.
