My Project

It is almost the end of another fabulous first-grade year! My students have worked hard this year to become readers and mathematicians, and we are excited for our end-of-year celebration!

Our Disney Day celebration is an exciting and much-loved tradition in our classroom!

We will celebrate with a virtual visit to Disneyland. For many of my students, it is the only opportunity to enjoy the wonders of Disney!

Each child will wear their Mickey and Minnie ears, receive a Mickey head balloon, and party favors & snacks. I hope to transform my room into a Disney wonderland with a backdrop of the Disney Castle and streamers. We will snack on Mickey PB&J cutout sandwiches, Mickey cheddar crackers, and decorated cookies! The slap bracelets will simulate the Disney ride bracelet so students can enter the virtual Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and their favorite Splash Mountain when sprayed with water as the ride splashes them!
