Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the school year comes to a close, my goal is to give my students a final boost in the foundational skills they need to feel confident and ready for kindergarten. This project provides a collection of hands-on materials focused on strengthening fine motor skills, early math concepts, and phonics development in a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate way.

With these materials, students will practice essential skills such as letter recognition and sounds, counting and number sense, and writing readiness.

Fine motor tools will help build the hand strength and control needed for writing, while math manipulatives and phonics activities will support meaningful, interactive learning experiences.

This end-of-year boost will allow my students to review, practice, and grow in a supportive environment, helping them transition to kindergarten with confidence, independence, and a strong academic foundation.
