This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The end of the school year is quickly approaching and we have a lot of fun activities planned for our students that have worked hard all year. One of those activities is a water play day. The students will be going through obstacle courses, having sack races, and many more games that include water. This is a fun and rewarding way to finish the school year. Fresno can get quite warm in the summer, so water play day is well received. But, as the kids get wet they need something to dry off with. Most of the students don't have a towel or beach towel to bring to school to use on water day. They would be thrilled with a new beach towel of their very own.
