Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The end of the year is almost here, and my students have worked so hard! They are in the midst of state testing, and I want to do what I can to make the rest of the year engaging and fun. One way I plan to do this is by incorporating more STEM-like activities into our day. I want students to use items such as magnetic blocks and STEM kits for designing, creating, and building. These activities, along with the fun fishing game and search-and-find, will help build students' critical thinking skills.
As they work together, they will also build social skills while problem-solving.
Lastly, to keep them motivated and energized, I am asking for some tasty snacks they can enjoy while working. These snacks will keep them focused throughout the day as they wait for lunch.
