This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hi guys.

Radiant, fun & energetic ELA teacher here who needs a little bit of your help.

We are ending the school year off with a bang & instead of the traditional movie, and boring end-of-year packets, the kiddos are exploring Dystopian fiction as a genre. We will be reading some mentor texts in reference to Dystopians as well as watching some visuals. Afterward, the goal is to create their own utopia/dystopian world where they create characters and a society with limits and social stratification. The kiddos are super excited about this project, but we need your help. They are designing their dystopian worlds on poster board and with 85 students, who each need their own poster board, it gets slightly expensive. If you guys are willing to assist, my class & I will greatly appreciate the donation.
