Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 2nd grade bilingual reading and writing. My students love to do fun things in the classroom and learn new things. My students are super special to me. They come from low income families and or rough home lives. I love that I can give them experiences at school that they would not always get to experience. My partner teacher and I we would love to give our students a Disney Day. A day where they get to "Go to Disney" hypothetically. Our kids will use these items to help them travel to Disney virtually. The castle backdrop will make it feel like we are at the castle. The streamers and balloons will add a special touch. Also, each student would eat snack while watching the fireworks (virtually) and take home a goodie bag with disney magic. My students will love being emersed into Disney World. This project will reach 35 plus students and made their disney dreams come true.
