Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of energetic 5th graders! Due to the pandemic, all classroom rugs were thrown out. I work in an area that was hit hard with Covid 19 and many of our students were greatly affected. When we got back from being remote, students had to stay in one classroom all day and without the rugs have to sit in their hard seats all day. I'm trying to bring back the rug area to allow students to move and be more comfortable within the classroom! They would greatly appreciate an area where they can stretch their legs while continuing to be on task and focused on their work!
