Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love PE! They are excited to learn how to play tennis and pickleball. Like most schools, ours lacks equipment. We have a limited supply of the equipment needed to allow each student more practice time. The wait time is long and the practice time is short.

If our project gets funded, more students will be able to practice the skills needed to play tennis and pickleball.

We are looking forward to attending a gym where tennis and pickleball are played regularly. The more practice we get, the better time we will have on the courts!

I have included jump ropes. Our current jump ropes are damaged and falling apart since we use them often. Many students could not jump rope prior to being in my class. Now, everyone knows how to jump rope. New jump ropes will help us continue to work on this healthy skill.
