Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students with significant cognitive disabilities hold a special place in our hearts. Each day, we witness their unwavering determination, resilience, and unique abilities that inspire us beyond measure. These remarkable individuals have diverse learning needs, and it is our mission to provide them with the support and resources necessary to thrive.
The acquisition of desktop computers for our students represents a pivotal step in enhancing their vocational readiness.
This computer will serve as an invaluable tool for them to develop essential skills such as typing, conducting data entry, creating emails, and crafting Word documents. These skills are not only fundamental for academic success but are also crucial for their future employment opportunities.
With access to desktop computers, our students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences that cater to their individual needs and strengths. Allowing them to gain confidence in their technological abilities, paving the way for greater independence and success in various vocational pursuits.
