This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students' journey to academic success as newcomer English Language Learners begins with the fundamental tools they need to learn and grow. Composition books, markers, crayons, and colored pencils serve as essential English Language Learning resources, aiding in their foundational learning.

Composition books provide a structured space for students to practice writing, develop language skills, and organize their thoughts in English.

Markers, crayons, and colored pencils not only facilitate creativity but also enable visual engagement with English language materials, helping students explore concepts in a hands-on way and reinforce language acquisition.

Each of these basic items plays a vital role in supporting my students' English Language Learning journey. From expressing themselves through art projects to practicing language skills in their notebooks, these supplies foster active learning and contribute to language development across various subjects.

My goal for this project is to ensure that every English Language Learner has equitable access to these foundational resources. By providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their language acquisition journey, we can empower them to reach their full potential and build a strong foundation for future academic achievement.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination as they navigate the complexities of learning a new language. With your support, we can give them the English Language Learning resources they need to excel academically and unlock endless possibilities for their future.
