This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the goals of the Kindergarten team in my school is to help students become empowering writers. To let them learn to express themselves through drawing and writing. It is also our goal to help our young ones, many who have not had preschool experience, to learn the mechanics of writing. In order to help them, we need to provide them with writing journals so that they can practice these skills.

Writing opens the door to our young authors imagination.

The donations of these journals will help them capture everything as they begin their writing journey. Writing journals are also a great way for us teachers to show the parents their progress in writing throughout the year.

Please help my grade partner and I have writing journals for our incoming Kindergarten students. The folders will help keep homework and other school notices in one place.
