Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
At Cox Academy, we understand that feeling clean and confident is crucial for students’ success in the classroom. That’s why we’re launching a project to create a student hygiene drawer stocked with individually wrapped items for students in TK-5th grade. This initiative will provide essential personal care items to students who need them, ensuring they can maintain proper hygiene while respecting their privacy and dignity.
Items Needed:We’re seeking donations to help us fill the hygiene drawer with a variety of individually wrapped items, including:
• Individually wrapped toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Single-use deodorant packs
• Individually wrapped hairbrushes and combs
• Single-use lotion packets
• Individually wrapped feminine hygiene products
Why This Project Matters:Providing individually wrapped hygiene items is essential for several reasons. It promotes a sense of privacy and respect, allowing students to take care of their personal hygiene needs without embarrassment. This approach also helps ensure hygiene and safety, reducing the risk of cross-contamination or shared germs.
