Supplies to Support the Unique Qualities of Our Students

Our students are special in their individual strengths and challenges.

Each student possesses unique abilities, learning styles, and interests, and they require personalized support to maximize their potential. Many of our students excel in areas such as creativity, problem-solving, and resilience, despite facing various learning and physical challenges. They are special in their determination to overcome obstacles and their capacity for growth, and it is our mission to provide them with the tools and environment they need to succeed.

The supplies we are requesting encompass a range of essential resources tailored to meet the diverse needs of our special education students. These include:

Art Supplies:

Various art materials such as colored pencils, markers, sketchbooks, and paint to facilitate creative expression and sensory exploration.

Tactile Supplies for Math:

Manipulatives, textured counting objects, and tactile tools to facilitate hands-on learning and comprehension of mathematical concepts for students with diverse learning needs.

Materials for SDI (Specially Designed Instruction) Instruction:

Customized instructional materials, adaptive technology tools, and sensory-friendly resources to support personalized learning and accommodate individualized educational plans for our special need students.

Each of these supplies plays a crucial role in promoting engagement, accessibility, and personalized learning experiences for our special education students, supporting their journey towards achieving academic success and obtaining their high school diploma.
